Altitude air training

Do you feel weak, have little energy, are exhausted, sleep poorly, are constantly sick or would you like to lose weight?

Possible areas of application:

  • Post/Long Covid
  • Exhaustion syndromes, fatigue
  • Fatigue (e.g. with endometriosis)
  • Vegetative imbalances (stress, burnout…)
  • Increased sympathetic activity
  • Reduced parasympathetic activity and much more.

How does the training work?

For the duration of the training (approx. 40 minutes), you lie comfortably on a lounger with a breathing mask while the device gradually adjusts the oxygen concentration of the air you breathe. This will not be noticeable to you and will NOT cause shortness of breath. At the same time, your oxygen saturation and your VNS – autonomic nervous system (see below) will be analyzed. According to the Nobel Prize study, an oxygen saturation of 85-90% activates the above-mentioned mitochondrial processes. This in turn leads to more energy, endurance and balance in your autonomic nervous system.

VNS analysis or HRV analysis – evidence-based diagnostics

The autonomic nervous system (ANS) is our stress and relaxation system. The VNS is used to control body functions such as the immune system, endocrine system, digestion, healing and repair processes.

If the sympathetic (fight and flight) and parasympathetic (relaxation) systems are not in balance, this leads to illnesses such as:

  • burnout
  • Fatigue, exhaustion
  • sleep disorders
  • Digestive problems
  • Increase in blood pressure
  • Tensions
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Psychological changes
  • immunodeficiency
  • and much more.

During HRV analysis (heart rate variability), the heartbeat is analyzed over 5-10 minutes using a chest strap. The heartbeat provides information about how adaptable the ANS is.

You can then immediately see the result in a graphic.
This procedure has been scientifically proven (approx. 25,000 studies) and is widely used in practices and studies to represent the VNS.

HRV measurement is used, among other things, during hypoxia therapy (see above) to monitor physical changes.

This analysis is also possible WITHOUT hypoxia therapy in order to make the function of your autonomic nervous system measurable and then to present treatment courses in numbers.

Recommendation:

According to studies, it is recommended to carry out 8-10 units, with a break of at least 1 day between units.

  • Initial appointment lasts approx. 1.5 hours.
  • Follow-up appointment takes approx. 1 hour.

Costs:

For privately insured patients, the costs can be submitted to the private health insurance company.

For the hypoxia altitude training, the cost is between 120 and 160 euros, in accordance with the rate of the fee schedule of the respective private health insurance company.

For self-payers, hypoxia altitude training costs -> first appointment €150/follow-up appointments €110.

The costs for an individual HRV analysis for privately insured patients are between 60 and 130 euros, according to the fee schedule of the respective private insurance company.

For self-payers, the cost of an individual HRV analysis is 40 euros.
